Question
Is an exempt Ancillary Insurance Intermediary (AII) satisfying the requirements of Article 1(3) of the IDD permitted to market the insurance product it distributes without reference to the insurer or intermediary that appoints it and is the insurer/intermediary that appoints the exempt AII required to apply the marketing regulatory requirement to such marketing materials?
Background
The term “to market” means “marketing communications” as referred to in Article 17(2) of the IDD.
