Question

Is Annualized guaranteed rate expected under Accepted reinsurance? Could you give one example if yes?

Answer

The log files explain: "Average guaranteed rate to the policy holder over the remaining life time of the contract. Only applicable where a guaranteed rate is provided in the contract. Not applicable for unit linked contracts." In case the HRG is 'accepted reinsurance' EIOPA could imagine in some cases, that a guaranteed interest rate is part of the reinsurance contract. In such a case it is expected that this annualized rate is reported within the appropriate HRG.
