Die BaFin hat am 10. November 2022 eine Geldbuße in Höhe von 498.000 Euro gegen die Landesbank Baden-Württemberg festgesetzt.
Der Sanktion lag ein Verstoß gegen § 130 Absatz 1 Ordnungswidrigkeitengesetz (OWiG) in Verbindung mit Artikel 16 Absatz 2 Satz 2 der Marktmissbrauchsverordnung (MAR) zugrunde. Die Landesbank Baden-Württemberg hatte es unterlassen, die Bundesanstalt unverzüglich über den begründeten Verdacht zu unterrichten, dass ein Auftrag vorliegt, der bezüglich eines Finanzinstruments einen Insiderhandel darstellt.
Das Unternehmen kann gegen den Bußgeldbescheid Einspruch einlegen.
