Die BaFin hat am 18. Oktober 2022 eine Geldbuße in Höhe von 150.000 Euro gegen die Rheinmetall Aktiengesellschaft festgesetzt.
Der Sanktion lag ein Verstoß gegen Artikel 17 Absatz 1 Unterabsatz 1 der Marktmissbrauchsverordnung (Market Abuse Regulation - MAR) zugrunde. Die Rheinmetall Aktiengesellschaft hatte eine Insiderinformation nicht unverzüglich bekanntgemacht.
Das Unternehmen kann gegen den Bußgeldbescheid Einspruch einlegen.
