Die BaFin hat am 6. September 2022 Geldbußen in Höhe von 200.000 Euro gegen die MFS MERIDIAN FUNDS festgesetzt.
Der Sanktion lagen Verstöße gegen § 33 Absatz 1 Satz 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (WpHG) zugrunde. Der MFS MERIDIAN FUNDS hatte Stimmrechtsmitteilungen nicht rechtzeitig abgeben.
Das Unternehmen kann gegen den Bußgeldbescheid Einspruch einlegen.

Der Bußgeldbescheid ist rechtskräftig.
