Die BaFin hat am 1. Juni 2022 eine Geldbuße in Höhe von 600.000 Euro gegen die CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA festgesetzt.
Der Sanktion lag ein Verstoß gegen § 41 Absatz 2 in Verbindung mit Absatz 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (WpHG) zugrunde. Die CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA hatte die Veröffentlichung der Gesamtzahl der Stimmrechte nicht rechtzeitig vorgenommen.
Das Unternehmen kann gegen den Bußgeldbescheid Einspruch einlegen.
