Die BaFin hat am 31. März 2022 eine Geldbuße in Höhe von 165.000 Euro gegen die Wellington Management Group LLP festgesetzt.
Der Sanktion lag ein Verstoß gegen § 130 Absatz 1 Ordnungswidrigkeitengesetz (OWiG) in Verbindung mit § 33 Absatz 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (WpHG) zugrunde. Die Wellington Management Group LLP hatte Stimmrechtsveröffentlichungen nicht rechtzeitig vorgenommen.
Das Unternehmen kann gegen den Bußgeldbescheid Einspruch einlegen.
