Is it possible to show the complete name of the fund when first mentioned and then simply refer it as “the Fund” after in the KIID.

[ESMA 34-43-392 UCITS Q&A, section 2, Q&A 5b] Yes and the same approach can be taken for share classes of funds with a reference to “the share class of the fund” in the KIID.
