Question
We note the deactivation of test BV650 for template S.26.06{r0130}=0.0045*max(0,{r0100}-{r0110})+0.03*max(0,{r0120})
with the following explanation –
“Unit linked amounts do not need to be deducted as they are not reported in R0100, R0200 or R0230.”
It does not appear to us that this statement is correct.
Could you please clarify?
Answer
This comment is applicable to both BV650 and BV652 and what we meant is that the amounts of unit linked (reported in R0110, R0210 and R0240) should not be deducted from R0100, R0200 and R0230 as amounts of unit linked should not in the first place be reported in R0100, R0200 or R0230.Therefore, and considering the example of BV650 the validation would need to be as follows:{r0130}=0.0045*max(0,{r0100})+0.03*max(0,{r0120})
