Question
In Q&A 2657 we asked about applicability of C0054, but the answer also mentions C0051: “Question: Can EIOPA please confirm that C0054 is applicable for non-life annuities (the guidance does not mention Answer: C0051 and C0054 are also applicable to non-life insurance annuities” The answer including C0051 and stating it is applicable to non-life insurance annuities is surprising as the LOG guidance for C0051 states: “Not applicable for annuities stemming from non-life contracts.” Can EIOPA please confirm the case for C0051.
Answer
C0054 is applicable to non-life annuities while C0051 is not, as specified in the instructions. As clarified in Q&A 2657 there should not be negative entries for neither C0054 nor for C0051.
