Question
S.06.02, C0297 (property location). From which perspective should it be judged whether a location is prime or not. Can you provide some more explanation on this?
S.06.02 C0120 (Custodian) “For assets stored in-house, the insurance undertaking shall be reported as the custodian.” How do you define “assets stored in-house”?
Answer
When deciding whether a location is prime or not you can use Recommendation ESRB/2016/14 that provides guidance on the classification: https://www.esrb.europa.eu/pub/pdf/recommendations/esrb.recommendation190819_qas_ESRB_2019-3~1ff856a81d.en.pdf?42f77658202bed82cfc5d40c8ecf40ea
Regarding the question how to define assets stored in-house, an example would be physical stock certificates or bonds certificates that the undertaking has on its possession, in the undertakings' facilities.
