Question
In the final report on the consultation on the revision of
the Guidelines on the valuation of Technical Provisions (ref. EIOPA-BoS-22/217 you have written under the next steps:
"A translated consolidated version of the Guidelines on the valuation of technical provisions will be published on EIOPA’s website. In addition, EIOPA will publish an Explanatory note including a compilation in English of the Guidelines on the valuation of technical provisions and the Explanatory text."
Since then only a version with the revised guidelines has been published (July 6, 2022). When do you plan to publish the consolidated version of the Guidelines on the valuation of technical provisions? The same for the Explanatory note?
Answer
EIOPA has recently published the consolidated version of the Guidelines including the Explanatory text in English. The consolidated version of the Guidelines in English, the translated original Guidelines and the translated reviewed Guidelines in all languages were already published and no additional translated versions are envisaged.
