Question

Validation BV902 states that the amount/estimate of the overall adjustment for loss-absorbing capacity of technical provisions reported on S.25.02 shall be negative. However, this contradicts the instruction for this cell (R0300/C0100) in the S.25.02 log guidance in Annex III to the Implementing Technical Standard which states that the value for this field should be positive.

Answer

The log files for the group templates will be amended during the next ITS amendment to specify that this field should be negative, consistent with the solo reporting.
