Question
We have noted that there are several validations which compare the sum of the solvency II value for specific CICs on the S.06.02 list of assets template with corresponding line items on the S.02.01 balance sheet template. We report the list of assets held by a method 2 entity on the S.06.02 template whilst reporting the value of the entity within the holdings in related undertakings, including participations line in the balance sheet in accordance with the S.02.01 general comments section of Annex III to the Implementing Technical Standard for group reporting. This means that we would currently fail these validations. We suggest that these validations be removed or changed to non-blocking.This applies to the following validations:BV135, BV365, BV366, BV367, BV368, BV370, BV371, BV373, BV374, BV376, BV685, BV733
Answer
EIOPA is aware of this issue. Entry points 04. and 05. will be removed for these validations with the 2.3.0 Hotfix version.
