Are intermediaries expected to report about Conflicts of Interest to the insurance undertaking?
Answer
No. Article 7 requires that an insurance intermediary or insurance undertaking will provide a written report on conflicts of interest to their own senior management. An intermediary is not obliged to report to an insurance undertaking.
