Question
D2O (S.08.01): A31 – Unwind trigger of contract:We believe that there should be no unwind trigger for exchange traded Index Futures. As such, we are planning to leave this column blank in relation to these derivatives.
Can EIOPA confirm if this acceptable?
Answer
In the cases like the one described where there is no unwind trigger exists the cell should be left empty during the preparatory phase. For the TS EIOPA will consider adding the option “No unwind trigger” to the close list.
