The Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland concluded this case by way of settlement and the payment of an administrative fine for a breach of Art. 26 (1) of Regulation (EU) No. 600/2014 on Markets in Financial Instruments (MiFIR), which has entered into force in Icelandic legislation, cf. Art. 3 (1)(1) of Act No. 115/2021 on Markets in Financial Instruments. The company’s violation relate to the failure to report to the Financial Supervisory Authority execution of all transactions in financial instruments during the period from 14 December 2022 to 7 February 2024. The FSA decided to conclude the case by way of settlement and the payment of an administrative fine in the amount of ISK 20.000.000
